EXAMPLE CABLE IDENTIFICATION TAGS
General:
1. Cable Tags are constructed from Avery Heavy Duty, White, Polyester, adhesive labels attached to ACP International (ACPI) VCT-200 and VCT-201 or to ACPI custom-made tags of polyethylene .055-inch thick tag backing with an integral clear laminate flap.
2. Label lettering is 12pt. Arial in permanent black ink printed with a Laser printer process.
3. Cable tags are secured to cable with two 3/16-inch wide, black, Type 6/6 Nylon Cable Ties. Ties are fastened to cable by running tie around cable and through the two holes at each end of tag.
4. Tags for copper cable have black lettering on a white label placed on an orange backing. Tags for fiber cable have black lettering on a white label placed on a yellow backing.
5. Each cable sheath has a single (individual) tag.
