The boiler is powered via oil delivered from a 500-gallon ConVault above-ground concrete tank directly outside the utility room. The system includes an Amtrol EX30 expansion tank mounted inline above the boiler.
Water enters the boiler from a pair of well pressure tanks, then exits the system and runs through a series of exposed insulated pipes to baseboard heaters in each room, except for the garage. The garage is heated by a hydronic, wall-mounted Fedders model 17C220 unit heater. In total, the system comprises over 220 (two-hundred twenty) linear feet of piping.
All measurements are approximate. Contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements.
Supplemental heat and air conditioning is supplied to the office and adjacent garage by two Mitsubishi Electric heat pump systems. The office has a single compressor (model MUZ-FH09NA) and head (model MSZ-FH09NA). The garage also has a single compressor (model MUZ-FH12NA) and head (model MSZ- FH12NA). See Appendix A for informational photographs of current conditions.
An electrical panel is located in proximity to existing furnace. A four-plug outlet is currently located nearby (See Existing Conditions photographs in Appendix A).
Circuits for the existing boiler and single bay garage heater may be used for new equipment. Two electrical outlets also exist in proximity to the location for the new furnace and water heater and may be repurposed as needed. Additional circuits shall be added to the panel located in the main office area (see additional photo in the Revised Attachments for panel information).
ii. The Project office is easily accessible via paved road off State Route 8 in Colebrook, CT. This is a remote area, but all amenities are available within thirty minutes of the project office. Utilities are available on site.
Vehicle access to job site is limited by access gate. Building access is limited. Contractor must coordinate access with TPOC.
