Summary of Questions Asked

Q1: Since a single phase 480V system will connect to a 3 phase 480V system, Will a single phase 480V system meet the requirement for CLIN 0001?

· The existing wiring from the building to the previous unit is 3 phase 480V. As long as the system is able to use this existing wiring, without having to run new wiring though the building, then you will be meeting this requirement.

Q2: Will you need a hood a ventilator for the machine?

· There is currently a 10 foot long MPI machine in it’s place. This machine has a hood and ventilator that can be reused if the quoted system is compatible.

Q3: Since you are requiring AC and DC on the MPI, Will you require a reversing DC de-mag?

· Yes, purchased description for CLIN 0001 has been updated.

Q4: Can you provide additional details on the installation?

· This RFQ is intended to replace an existing unit. We, the Missouri National Guard, will provide removal of the previous system. The installation site has forklifts, forklift operators and on site electricians who can assist if there are any issues with the building power supply. The purpose of the installation requirement is ensure that the system is installed correctly and to prevent the delivery of a cut rate, build it yourself item. We are requiring that vendor provide installation of the system, set-up and wiring of the system to the already existing (from the previous unit) building power supply.
