Is a free-standing locker unit made up of 5-lockers? Does a 5-locker unit need to be fastened and/or secured to the next 5-locket unit when they are set side by side?

- Each Unit is made up of 5 Lockers

- Each Unit can be free standing

On the mesh you specified, is it a requirement that it be a specific type of mesh? Would diamond perforated plate also work? Yes, It is needed so that air can get through to where items will be able to avoid mold, mildew, etc. Is there a specific pattern you want used such as carbon steel 1-1/2” X 9 Standard Expanded Metal. The door frame edges will be made from 1-1/2” x 1-1/2” x .250” angle iron with the expanded metal welded into the frame to complete the assembly.

- There is no specific pattern required

What are the overall inside dimensions required on each locker? The inside dimension for each locker needs to be 16” H x 47” W. What is the depth of the inside dimension? Is it 16”?

- The inside dimensions need to be at least 16” H x 47” W x 29” D with a minimum weight capacity of 200 lbs per locker

What is the tube size you are figuring for the outside frame? (this will affect overall size of entire unit) 2Guage Base, 6-gauge sides, with top. Tube is ordered by giving the outside dimension of the tube, say 2” x 2” x .250” thick x the length to be determined by the fabricator. A welded base plate could be a 4” x 4” x .250 thick.

- Minimum of 200lb capacity per locker.

The floor of locker above becomes the top of the locker below. Does each individual locker have a solid plate floor with an open mesh top? Or does the floor of the locker above become the top of the locker below? All panels will therefore standard expanded metal. There is no solid sheet used in the assembly.

- The locker base requirement is that it be solid, flat steel and hold a minimum of 200lbs per locker.

We also won’t be able to accommodate the 2 gauge as it will be too thick to fit in our slots. We would be able to do a 4 gauge, is this ok? For the weight requirements and the items that will be stored, 2 gauge is required. 2-gauge material no longer exists. With your customer’s approval we will use 2” x 2” x .250” angle iron for all supports, including all horizontal and vertical frame pieces. The doors will use 1-1/2” x 1-1/2 x .250” angle iron. This will support anything you put in a duffle bag.

- Weight and size requirements must be met.

I believe I have the #2 question asked from my previous email, was the color to use is Gray? YES. Are we to use a powder coat or a wet paint to finish the lockers?

- The color needs to be gray. Powder Coat or paint is fine.
