About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for the construction of a VTOL pad at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in Japan. The project scope requires construction of a high-temperature concrete pad and taxiway to support the F-35B aircraft. Additional work includes airfield lighting, grading, road modifications, and utility relocations. Pavements will include continuously reinforced high-temperature concrete, Portland cement concrete, and enlarged asphalt shoulders. The amendment provides as-built drawings for informational purposes only, incorporates new FAR and DFARS provisions regarding telecommunications and video surveillance, and confirms the bid due date remains unchanged.
