(1) Per SOW 1.3.3 MC type cable is allowed from the last junction box to the individual light fixture.
During the jobsite visit I observed that MC cable has been used extensively and in multiple applications in the warehouses that we will be working in. Can we use EMT home runs to the general areas that the new task lighting will be installed and MC cable to loop between the fixtures?
ANSWER: Contractor shall reuse the existing lighting circuits. Contractor can "loop" 2 to 4 fixtures together from 1 EMT feed box. Contractor shall not be allowed to "loop" 5 or more fixtures together. Install EMT, from the existing run, for more than 4 fixtures.
