About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number W9128F23Q0104 from the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha. The solicitation is for inspection of an aboveground storage tank at an unspecified military base. The questions and answers clarify that up to 2,000 gallons of fuel currently in the tank will be transferred to another on-base tank for temporary storage during inspection. The contractor will inspect the tank interior and shell, take three paint samples for laboratory analysis to detect lead and hex chrome, and return the tank's internal floating roof to operational position upon completion if no mandatory repair items are found. Additional mobilization will be required for that task. Estimated time for fuel transfer varies by tank. Costs for the inspection do not need to include temporary fuel storage as the base can accommodate transfer to another nearby tank of the same product.
