About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation W9128F23Q0104 from the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha for SP-POL-CMP-INSPECT-FY24-YKM. The solicitation involves inspecting a 2,000 gallon fuel tank, which may require transferring up to 2,000 gallons of fuel to another onsite tank for the duration of the inspection. Contractors must coordinate fuel storage with the base and are responsible for transferring product as needed to float the internal floating roof, though transfer time can vary per tank. Inspection standards include SSPC PCS for coatings and NACE Level II for other aspects. Paint samples from three tank locations are required for lab analysis of lead and hex chrome. Recoat specifications after sampling are UFGS 09 97 13.27 for exterior and UFGS 09 97 13.17 for interior. Mobilization will also be needed to reset the internal floating roof legs to operational position if no mandatory repairs are found.
