Solicitation Number: W9127N-16-Q-0005, NWP CAD SERVICES BPA
Attachment 3: REDLINE EXAMPLE PACKAGE; STRUCTURAL/MECHANICAL
Applicability: Service 2 under section 5.1 of the PWS and Item 2 on Exhibit A: Price List; Service 3 under section 5.1 of the PWS and Item 3 on Exhibit A: Price List (see below)
Narrative:
This attachment provides examples of typical structural and some mechanical drawings that require incorporation of redlines (service 2 per the PWS). In some cases, the drawings will also need to be vectorized (service 3 per the PWS in lieu of service 2). If the drawing is already vectorized, then the native Microstation or Autocad file will be provided to the Contractor for editing. The color conventions for redlines (red, blue, green, yellow highlights) are typical for many Portland District customers and will be further explained/altered after award as needed. Note that the redlines are a mixture of text and line work that needs to be changed in the sheets. The ratio of text to line work will vary sheet by sheet, as will the quantity of redlines per sheet. The project-specific information in the title blocks has been redacted for solicitation purposes but it is typical that drawing title blocks would also be updated to show the current revision date and other information after redlines are incorporated.
Note: These drawings and scans were never intended to be sent out for external CAD work so the scan quality is lower than what would be typical for an order under this BPA. Additionally, there are Government drafter’s highlights and notes on these sheets as they were working copies that would not be seen on sheets sent out under a call order under the BPA.
