About this file
The document contains minutes from a site visit for the Replace Waterlines at Reynolds Creek Park federal contract opportunity. Key details include that the worksite has extremely rocky soil that will require contractors to install waterlines in conglomerate rock. While no hard date for award was provided, bids will be opened on July 20th and award is usually made within a couple weeks thereafter. The scope of work involves replacing aging waterlines and abandoning the existing lines in place. Contractors should expect the soil conditions to require following manufacturer installation standards. The Corps of Engineers district will provide applicable as-built drawings but notes the records may not be complete. Disposal of excess material must occur off-site in accordance with specifications.
