About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a vegetation reduction services contract at Hidden Dam, Hensley Lake in Raymond, California. The document clarifies that services are required twice per year, with pricing required for both the base year and four option years. The lowest-priced offeror for the total contract value will receive the award, and option years must be priced as binding terms that the government can exercise unilaterally.
Key details include: the incumbent contractor is CLASS CONTRACTING LLC; Service Contract Act Wage Determination 11210 applies with an $18.20/hr minimum labor rate plus $5.36/hr health and welfare benefits; payments are made within 30 days of accepted invoices; only price will be evaluated for award per Clause 52.212-2; and offerors must submit signed proposals to Antonina.Beal@usace.army.mil and Raymond.R.Greenheck@usace.army.mil. The Performance Work Statement sections on Pre-Work Meeting, Contractor's Quality Control Plan, and Security contain additional required certifications and licenses beyond the General B and C-12 License mentioned by a prospective bidder.

Q&A
Q1. We currently hold a General B and C-12 License. Would we need additional licenses or certifications for this project?
A1. See Performance Work Statement section Pre-Work Meeting for the list of required items as well as section Contractor’s Quality Control Plan (QCP), and Security section. No other licenses and certificates are required for this project.
Q2. Is there a current contractor for this project?
A2. Yes
Q3. Is there an engineer’s projected estimate for this project?
A3. No.
Q4. Is service per week, month, year?
A4. There are two (2) services per year. See the Performance Work Statement (PWS) in the solicitation for details.
Q5. Do you need a total breakdown for each year of service or just the first year of service?
A5. Yes, breakdown for the base year and four (4) option years. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror for the total contract value (base and all option years).
