Pricing Schedule Instructions
Price Submission:
Follow these instructions when completing the attached pricing schedule for the price proposal.
The Government is planning to award an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity requirements contract for laboratory environmental analysis services with firm fixed unit prices. This price schedule establishes fixed unit prices of each of the Analytical Services within the scope. Note that separate unit prices are required for each award term. The unit prices are for a fully burdened unit price with a standard 21 day turn around. Fully burdened price means that all direct and indirect costs are included as well as all overhead and profit. The cost of taking the sample and delivering the sample to the laboratory is not included in the unit price.
For the price proposal complete the attached price schedule Matrix by proposing a contract unit price for each SubCLIN with a standard 21 day turn around. Each color shaded row indicates an item which shall be priced. Actual quantities will vary over the term of the contract and will be determined by each delivery order. Please note the Estimated Quantity* column in the Matrix. The Estimated Quantities listed on this price schedule are for price competition only for selection and award.
Also, complete the attached Matrix by proposing a contract unit price Price Multiplier for expedited turnaround of the Services. For, example if the unit price proposed for a Service within 24 hours (24 HR) is 5% more than the standard 21 days the associated proposed Price Multiplier would be 1.05.
Price Analysis for Award:
Price competition for award of the contract will consist of adding the sum of all the prices at the estimated quantities of all Services for all of the five award terms. The total sum will determine the total price for price competition to establish the lowest offered price.
For Example, the following table illustrates how the Government would evaluate one of the Services for price competition. The estimated quantity is taken into account.

The proposed Price Multipliers will not be evaluated for the total price. However the Price Multipliers will be evaluated for price reasonableness and balance. The government reserves the right to find that an offer with unreasonable Price Multipliers, or is unbalanced, is not reasonable and not awardable, even though the total price of the offer may otherwise be the lowest total price.
Please note. The price schedule worksheet is password protected. Only columns F through J are unlocked for entry of pricing and price multiplier entries.
