The following have been added by full text:

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1. I am used to submitting SF 330 responses for engineering opportunities; however, I believe this solicitation is more of a construction based procurement. Is an SF 330 required?

A1. SF 330 is not required. This is a construction type contract. Please review FAR 52.214- 18 “Preparation of Bid – Construction”. Bidders shall acknowledge amendments to this solicitation by signing and returning the amendment(s) and by identifying the amendment number and date in the space provided for this purpose on the SF 1442 form for submitting a bid. You are also required to submit a bid guarantee for this project in accordance with FAR 52.228-1 “Bid Guarantee”.

Q2. Can previous submittals (for other similar projects) be reviewed to help in preparing for this solicitation?

A2. No. Please refer to the specifications, drawings and files provided.

Q3. To assist us in determining the best way to approach this project, can you please let us know if the electrical and telecommunication work must be completed by companies that not only meet the qualifications for the project, but are also licensed for work in Braddock, PA?

A3. Yes, please refer to FAR 52.236-7 “Permits and Responsibilities”. In addition, Braddock Borough will be able to assist with permits by calling 412-271-1018.
