Questions and Responses from Solicitation Submission # Ref. Question Response
1. We would like to know the voltage for each system? Voltage is 120/208.
2. The SOW mentions reuse of the existing conductors, it would be helpful to know the manufacturer of the existing ATS's?
The manufacturer of the existing ATS's is Eaton
Cutler-Hammer.
3. All so called manual switches are the exact size and function of fully auto systems, except that there will be manual push buttons on the cover. The service entrance rating requires that the switches utilize circuit breakers in lieu of contactors to achieve that rating, resulting in substantial cost and increased dimensions. Are the existing units also SE rated?
I’m not sure, the switch at 11596 is labeled
“Suitable for use as
Service Equipment”
4. Does that existing switch (referring to question 3) have bypass/isolation?
No, it does not.
5. Lastly what is the approximate age of the units now in place?
Approximately 25 years.
