A5. AMU will not be located on the roof. Purchase Description Paragraph 4.2.6.3 states, "The heated makeup air unit/units (no more than 2) shall be natural gas fired and shall be located at ground level near the dust collector outside the building."
Q6. Steam is located on the roof as well - electrics for AMU shall be where?

Pressure drop is measured across this filter bank and tied into the main control panel to detect a main collector failure and shut the system down. Additional paragraphs 4.2.5.9 and 4.2.5.10 have been added to the Purchase Description to assist with clarification.
Q9. What is the expected noise level within the booth - understand it is to be treated for noise and achieve a 85 dba exterior What is the interior noise level?
A9. The noise level inside the booth is typically 102 - 104 dB with max levels of 130 dB.
Q10. Dust collector to be sized for 60,000 cfm At what static? Did you want one unit or two @ 30,000?
A10. A single unit would be preferred but two units are allowed since this is a design specification. Sizing for static pressure will be a design feature of the project to achieve requested air flow and pressures.
