ANSWER QUESTIONS

1. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions that were asked by a contractor.

QUESTION 1:

52.212-2 EVALUATION--COMMERCIAL ITEMS (OCT 2014):

During the site visit, Contractors were informed of the importance of providing inspection and preventive maintenance based on a "coordinated" and "agreed to" schedule which included outages at critical locations (note: This is also outlined in the scope of work document provided) . Based on this information, Eaton is requesting a preliminary schedule of the dates for inspection of each site so that we can properly quote the personnel required and the number of man hours. With this information a project management team can be defined for the required work including associated cost. This can be evaluated by Aniston Army Depot, Director of Public Works for compliance and accuracy.

ANSWER 1: Contractor shall submit preliminary schedule with bid. Coordinated schedule of outages will be prepared after award.

Question 2:

Past Performance:

Within the solicitation there are two different references to the evaluation of past performance and what is defined as "recent". Can you please clarify if it is the past three (3) years or five (5) years?

- page 8/75 Narrative 11: PAST PERFORMANCE PROPOSAL AND EVALUATION INFORMATION "RELEVANT PAST PERFORMANCE ON THREE (3) CONTRACTS performed within the past three (3) years prior to closing of this solicitation."

- page 29/75 PAST PERFORMANCE "... recent and relevant past performance within the last five years."

ANSWER 2: The correct one is: PAST PERFORMANCE PROPOSAL AND EVALUATION INFORMATION "RELEVANT PAST PERFORMANCE ON THREE (3) CONTRACTS performed within the past three (3) years prior to closing of this solicitation."

Question 3: OFFER DUE DATE: We are respectfully seeking a one week bid extension; changing from 10:00 AM 18 Jun 2021 to 10:00 AM 25 Jun 2021.

ANSWER 3: The Federal Government does not see where an extention is needed therefore the closing date will remain the same.
