About this file
This document includes slides from an industry day presentation and details of a related federal contract opportunity for medical laboratory testing services for HIV. Key details include that the industry day presentation educated potential offerors on requirements for providing HIV testing services to the U.S. Army and Military Entrance Processing Command, including specimen collection, testing using FDA-approved methods, result reporting, quality programs, and information systems. The presentation also solicited industry feedback on the draft performance work statement and discussed requirements regarding information assurance, risk management framework, and performance measures. The related federal contract opportunity is for HIV testing and reporting services with an estimated 60,000 specimens monthly from Army medical treatment facilities and Reserve Health Readiness Program sites. The pre-solicitation notice specifies that the industry day was held on November 9, 2017 and that the solicitation is expected to be released in January 2018.
