A – Supplemental Information

Pg. 4 Duplicate Lower Control Line Set (Line, Suspension Con) for a quantity of 75 is listed twice under both Base Year and Option Year quantity listings. Please advise if the duplicate listing is intentional and required to be quoted, or an erroneous listing.

Pgs. 7 -
NSN Typos This offeror has noticed there are a number of NSNs that have numbers missing These include the following CLINS:
0004AA, 0005AA, 0006AA, 0012AA, 0013AA, 1004AA,
1005AA, 1006AA, 1007AA, 1008AA, 1009AA, 1010AA,
1011AA.
Answer: The numbers are correct rather the dash is in the wrong place and will be corrected with Solicitation Amendment 001. CLIN 0013AA is deleted with Solicitation Amendment 001.
B- Supplies /Services
CLIN 0029 Pg. 33 Incorrect Nomenclature
This offeror has noticed the part number and NSN listed for the FAT spare parts unit reflects only one component- the Actuator Module p/n (11-1-8497), instead of the system top drawing p/n 11-1-7840-1.
Answer: The nomenclature for CLIN 0029 will be updated in Solicitation Amendment 001 to remove the word “unit”.
There are 25 spares for this contract and each one will require a FAT. The NSN and part number for the Actuator Module are correct, however, these will be removed from CLIN 0029 CLIN because this CLIN 0029 represents a requirement for 25 spare parts, not just the Actuator Module.

Deliveries or Performance
Pgs. 35 -
Number of Days for Delivery
The offeror requests the delivery schedule be revised to allow for a minimum of 240 days for CLIN 1001AA through CLIN 1027AA OR revise the verbiage to allow offerors to submit alternative delivery schedules that may fall outside the delivery period specified and still be considered responsive.

D- Packaging and Marking
Packaging Requirements
Pgs. 56 –
General Question
The offeror has noticed the detail and specifics listed within the packaging requirements is extensive and above average. This level of packaging, marking, and dimensional dictation will drive up costs significantly due to the extraordinary specifics being required and the inherent supply procurement and labor that will be required that has not been stipulated on similar past contracts. The offeror requests Section D be simplified and streamlined in a fashion more aligned with previous contracts for these product requirements
Answer: These packaging requirements are the specifications determined necessary by the requirements office for the items being procured under this effort. Since these are individual spare parts, the preservation and packaging methods are necessary to protect the items for global transportation and potential long term storage at various locations.
E- Inspection & Acceptance
E-5, para. b Pg. 107 General Question
The offeror does not see a line item or requirement in regards to Raw Material Certification. Please advise if this is a stipulation in the performance of the awarded contract.
If so, the offeror requests verbiage be included reflecting the requirement and a separate line item be added if necessary.
Answer: A separate line item is not necessary for the raw material certifications. The FATR (CLIN 0028, CDRL A001) shall include raw material certifications per the Inspection and Acceptance (First Article Approval) requirement.
F- Deliveries or Performance
