Stop engine. Leak check and repair engine.
Thoroughly wash engine.
Stop engine. Leak check and repair engine.
Thoroughly wash engine.
Stop engine. Check power ratings and make final pump adjustments at 1800 and 2400 rpm if necessary.
Final wash/clean engine.
Check Power Ratings and adjust as necessary to the following:
* 735- 780 CGBHP @ 2400 rpm.
* 607- 631 CGBHP @ 1800 rpm.
Recheck Low Idle, 700 - 750 rpm.
Check Adjust High Idle, 2600 - 2660 rpm.
Stop engine. Leak check and repair as required.

Verify operation of the fuel- water separator module.
Remove instrumentation and remove the engine from the test cell.
Remove engine from test cell and install wiring harnesses.
Check oil pressure psi, oil temperature, and oil pressure switches to make sure they are operational.
Verify alternator output voltage (28 volts).
Verify operation of fuel filter pressure drop sensor.
Verify operation of the hourmeter.
Low Idle recovery. Set engine to low idle, no load and turn off dyno water. Dial load to 800 lb- ft. Rpm cannot drop more than 75 rpm.
Adjust PTO idle speed to 1950- 2000 rpm. Increase engine speed to over 2100 rpm and activate the solenoid. The solenoid should control the engine to 1950- 2000 rpm, no load. If adjustment is necessary, turn the solenoid speed control screw clockwise to decrease speed and counterclockwise to increase speed. Tighten locknut.
Check flame heater system for operation and fuel leaks by activating at idle and feeling for warm intake elbows.
Check smoke generating system fuel flow. Close manual valve and wire in closed position after flow is verified.
Verify operation of the turbo outlet pressure sensor.
24** Acceptance test
10 1800
NOTE
All engine parameters including exhaust smoke opacity will be recorded in this step. If repairs or adjustments are necessary, make repairs or adjustments, then perform step 1 and proceed to step 9.
