Q1: What infrastructure needs to be removed?

A1: Existing infrastructure for classified networks within the JOG-E space needs to be removed and re-run per the IDP. Existing distribution systems above the false ceiling can be re-used.

Q2: Is there a raised floor available in any of the spaces for running of infrastructure?

A2: No, all infrastructure must use pathways above the false ceiling.

Q3: Will the spaces be occupied during the installation?

A3: Some of the spaces will be occupied. Rooms 406A, 407, 408, and 412 will be occupied. The preferred installation plan would be to complete the installation in the other spaces first, transition personnel to those spaces, then complete 406A, 407, 408, and 412.

A4: ALL workers who are working in an occupied spaces must have a TS/SCI clearance. This is to keep from disrupting operations. Any workers in any level 6 space who do have the proper clearance mush have TS/SCI escorts at all times, and should not be working in occupied spaces.

Q5: Where does the foiling need to go?

A5: The foiling is to be install in the attic outside the door on the northern end of the building. (This was physically pointed out during the site visit.)

A7: Yes, the JOG-E will ensure that the excess furniture is removed and work areas are clear.

Q8: Should the contractor patch and re-paint the walls after removing old infrastructure?

A8: Per the PWS, the contractor is not responsible for patching or re-painting the walls.

The contractor is responsible for installation of fire stop at any penetrations per PWS 5.6.12.

Q9: Can the stairwell doors be closed to create a boundary?

A9: Yes. Currently the stairwell doors are currently the boundary for the JOG-E space.

Q10: How should the cabling be run to the conference room table in Rm 405?

A10: The cabling should be run on the floor as discretely as possible.

Q11: Does the existing vertical cabling from the first floor TR to the fourth floor need to be removed?

A11: No. None of the vertical cabling needs to be removed. The existing cabling can be re-terminated to use as up-links to the new switching infrastructure on the fourth floor.
