#QUESTIONANSWER
Is this a new requirement?Yes, this is a new requirement
If it is not can you please provide the existing contract number or the total amount of the last award. There is no existing/ prior contract
CUI Notice 2019-03 supports the use of a multi-step paper destruction standard as compliant with NIST SP 800-88, Rev. 1. This method has been deemed acceptable for similar solicitations for the destruction of CUI, such as N61331-25-T-JK06. In reference to paragraph 9 of CUI Notice 2019-03, which specifies that multi-step destruction ensures materials are unreadable, indecipherable, and irrecoverable, would a multi-step destruction process be considered an acceptable method to meet the destruction requirements outlined in this solicitation? It depends on what the multi-step process consists of. If step one is tear the paper in half and step two is throw it in a recycle bin, then no that would not meet requirements. The bidder can use a muti step process as long as it renders the paper is "unreadable, indecipherable, and irrecoverable." Also they have to protect the information until the process is complete. They cant leave it in a warehouse for weeks awaiting each step.
Is there an incumbent currently servicing this contract? No
Is this a brand new contract?Yes
Are there volumes that you can provide? I.e. (Basically bin #s, size of the bins and how often)See Attachment 0002 for bin numbers. Attachment 0001 PWS states monthly shredding with each bin being 64-gallon capacity.
