Solicitation W50S9F-20-R-0008 Request For Information #4

Question #1:

What kind of MM fiber? 62.5 or 50 micron?

Question #1 Response:

50 micron

Question #2:

Are we terminating fiber and copper? If so, what kind of ends for fiber? ST, SC or LC? What kind of jacks for Cat5e?

Question #2 Response:

This is dependent upon the manufacturer providing the system. Submit point-to-point wiring diagram of complete interconnected system components including database listing of wire numbers, to and from designations, and wire characteristics.

If you are using a typical back box and jack plate, we typically use a quad plate configuration with both fiber and copper. This includes two Cat5E and Two Cat6 jacks. The Cat6 jacks are colored orange. This is a standard configuration for us with regard to data and phone but all our phones are voice-over-data.

The fiber connectors - SC.

Question #3:

At gates B-1 and B-2, are they to be grounded with rods and #6 bare with hand holes the same as shown for non-powered gates C5#2?

Question #3 Response:

Yes.
