W25G1V 22 Q 0001
| QUESTION | IN REFERENCE TO | QUESTION / CONCERN | GOVERNMENT RESPONSE | |
| 1 | SITE VISIT | Received 10/27/21: | ||
| I would like to be added to the pre bid meeting on Nov 2nd please let me know if there is anything I need to bring to site other than standard PPE. | Response 10/28/21: |
Vendors do need to have a valid picture ID but other than face masks and the normal PPE such as safety shoes and eye protection, nothing else is required.
While it is not really a “secure area”, visitors will not be permitted to take photos. The COR will have a government camera with him in case any visitors want any photos. The photos will be provided to the Purchasing Agent and they will be shared accordingly.
REMINDER: As stated in the solicitation, Contractors that intend on attending the site visit are to inform the COR by 3:00PM (EST), 29-OCT-21.
COR: Mr. Darren Ruby, (570) 615-6639, Darren.L.Ruby.civ@army.mil
| 2 | SITE VISIT | Received 10/28/21: | |
| Could you please send the address for the Scranton Gate and advise if any other instructions are needed or a POC? | Response 10/28/21: |
While there is no specific "address for the Scranton Gate", entering the Depot's main address, (11 Hap Arnold Blvd Tobyhanna, PA, 18466), into a search engine, for example Google, it identifies Bldg. 606 which is the Visitors Center located near the Scranton Gate. Bldg. 606 is where Darren will meet and escort visitors. So that address should be good for a GPS.
As for any other instructions, see response to question # 1.
| 3 | SITE VISIT | Received 11/01/21: | |
| Whom will be my point of contact for the meeting when I sign in at security? | Response 11/01/21: |
The Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) is Mr. Darren Ruby. Darren will be the Government POC for the site visit. Darren's contact information is located in the reponse to question # 1, and also within the SF1449 Solicitation document.
