Explanation for No Option Years: This is a one time VoIP upgrade.
New or Follow-On:
Requirement Description: 1. Replace End-Of-Life Cisco VoIP system including router.

2. Migrate current VoIP database and configuration to new VoIP system.

3. Provide 3 years warranty on hardware and 3 years of software assurance.

4. Additional support services are anticipated.

Proposed Vendor: Millennium Enterprise Corporation (MEC) Minh Nguyen (703) 395-0799

Why is this the only vendor?: USNA has used MEC previously to troubleshoot and optimized the VoIP database and configuration. By using another vendor, USNA would invalidate the warranty of the VoIP database and configuration optimization. Under this contract, the phones, servers, and services are part of a bundle to get the best prices and that would void the current warranty and warranty for the upgrade because there is no way to guarantee that the equipment , if purchased separately from another vendor, is functioning properly when we receive it. MEC's in-depth knowledge of the USNA/NEA VoIP/network environment and current configuration provide the least risk and business impact to USNA. Based on USNA market research, MEC is the only vendor that will provide a 3 years warranty on both hardware and software.
