About this file
This is a Vendor Affidavit regarding the Use of Coercion for Labor and Services document related to Hillsborough County Public Schools' (HCPS) Water and Wastewater Laboratory Services procurement in Florida. The affidavit functions as a compliance certification that vendors must complete as part of their bid submission process. The document requires vendors to attest under oath that they do not engage in or support the use of coercion, forced labor, human trafficking, or any unlawful labor practices in the provision of goods and services. This certification applies to the vendor's operations, supply chain, and all personnel involved in delivering the water and wastewater laboratory services to HCPS.
The affidavit serves as a mandatory compliance requirement for all bidders responding to the Water and Wastewater Laboratory Services opportunity. Vendors must sign and notarize the document, confirming their adherence to state and federal labor laws and ethical business practices. This certification is a standard procurement requirement designed to ensure that HCPS contracts only with vendors who maintain lawful and ethical employment practices. Failure to complete and submit this affidavit as part of the bid package may result in bid rejection or disqualification from consideration.
