About this file
This is a market research roundtable announcement from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) seeking information on super intelligence (SI) tools and specialized patent practitioner consulting services.
The USPTO will host an in-person roundtable on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. CDT at the USPTO Southwest Regional Outreach Office in Dallas, Texas, with Acting Commissioner for Patents Barry Schindler and Chief SI Officer Jonathan Spencer. Interested vendors must RSVP by email to SIroundtable@uspto.gov by Wednesday, October 7, 2026. The USPTO is specifically seeking innovative tools and solutions that address two objectives: (1) Patent application filing wizard with advanced functionality producing "exam ready" and "issue ready" applications, including application readiness checks and post-allowance checks at issue fee payment; and (2) Patent application filing analytics supporting faster, higher quality decisions through agentic analysis and real-time scenario analysis. Vendors must demonstrate at least one of these two objectives to attend and must include in their RSVP written confirmation identifying which objective their SI tool meets and the names of up to two representatives attending.
Vendor requirements for attendance include active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) with a valid Unique Entity Identifier; all underlying models must be American-built with available model cards and bias/drift monitoring; data, algorithms, code, and agentic intellectual property rights will remain property of USPTO and must be stored in the United States; demonstrations should address the technical architecture of proposed tools; FedRAMP certification is preferred for SaaS solutions; and solutions should include integration plans with major identity providers (Okta, Entra) and robust APIs. This is market research only and does not represent a request for proposal or guarantee of contract award. The USPTO reserves the right to issue solicitations based on roundtable discussions and product demonstrations in accordance with the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act.
