SPECIFICATIONS

EXTRUDED PANEL HARDWARE

DESCRIPTION:

This specification sets forth the requirements for extruded panel hardware that will be used in the field by DOTD employees to install and/or repair extruded panels.

REQUIREMENTS:

Product ID 11947 – Panel Mounting Assembly

Assembly shall consist of the following:

One (1) 3/8 inch-16 UNC by 3/4 inch aluminum alloy 2024-T4, hex head bolt o Must be compatible with extruded panels

Two (2) 3/8 inch aluminum flat washers measuring 1 inch x 7/16 inch x .078 inch

One (1) 3/8 inch aluminum alloy 2017-T4 hex head locknut

Note: All parts to be assembled by hand before delivery. Locknuts should not be engaged.

Product ID 11948 – Post Clip Assembly

Assembly shall consist of the following:

One (1) aluminum alloy 356-T6 post clip

One (1) 3/8 inch-16 UNC by 1 3/4 inch aluminum alloy 2024-T4, rectangular head bolt

One (1) 2024-T3 aluminum flat washer with an outer diameter of 3/4 inch and inner diameter of 25/64 inch by .090 inch thick.

One (1) 3/8 inch aluminum alloy 2017-T4 hex head locknut

Note: All parts to be assembled by hand before delivery. Locknuts should not be engaged.

PACKAGING AND DELIVERY:

Assemblies to be supplied in containers that do not exceed 250 units per container.
