Technical Specifications Temperature and Humidity Chamber DLA Product Test Center, TA Lab
Objective:
To obtain a Temperature and Humidity Chamber to be used for testing materials subjected to dynamic conditions over time. Currently, the Product Test Center (PTC) has a chamber that is nearly 20 years old and is no longer capable of achieving required testing parameters. This model chamber is no longer manufactured, and repairs are not as cost effective as a complete replacement.
Procurement of a Temperature and Humidity Chamber will enable the Product Test Center (PTC) to regain the capability of subjecting test specimens to stable environmental conditions for leather, paper and textile materials designated for testing, which will allow the DLA Product Test Center in continuing its mission in providing high quality reporting to its customers.
The DLA Product Test Center-TA Lab has listed the requirements for the procurement of a Temperature and Humidity Chamber. The following specifications are a list of minimum functions and features required by the DLA Product Test Center.
