About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the Open eVTOL (OeV) / TTT RAVEN SWFT project at NASA Langley Research Center. The contractor must provide a 4-quadrant power supply system rated for minimum 60V and 125A to support wind-tunnel testing of the SWFT vehicle in the FDRF wind-tunnel facility. The power supply system must accommodate regenerative braking capabilities of the vehicle's electronic speed controllers (ESCs) to accurately emulate flight testing characteristics during wind-tunnel operations. Multiple power supplies may be connected in parallel to achieve the required current draw capability.

The contractor shall deliver the power supply(ies) along with all necessary accessories including cable packs and AC plugs. The place of performance is NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, with power supply installation scheduled for Q1 FY27. No pricing terms, response dates, or award information are specified in this Statement of Work.

STATEMENT OF WORK

1. Objective/Requirements

The Open eVTOL (OeV) / TTT RAVEN SWFT project is planning to perform wind-tunnel testing of the SWFT vehicle in the FDRF wind-tunnel at NASA Langley. To support this testing, a 4-quadrant, greater than or equal to 60V, greater than or equal to 125A power supply (or multiple power supplies connected in parallel) is required for powering the sUAS RAVEN SWFT vehicle during testing. The electronic speed controllers (ESCs) on the SWFT vehicle have regenerative braking enabled, so in order to emulate flight testing characteristics in the wind-tunnel a 4-quadrant power supply is required.

2. Characteristics, Scope, and Specs

The contractor shall perform the following duties:

Provide power supply(ies) with the following characteristics:

o 4-Quadrant o Greater than or equal to 60V o Greater than or equal to 125A o Supplies can be multiple connected in parallel to provide current draw capability Provide accessories (cable packs, AC plugs, etc.) for above power supplies

3. Place of Performance NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, VA

4. Period of Performance Power supply installation will occur in Q1 FY27.
