The connectivity solution data center must be provided under a scheme of high availability considering the following or similar:
• Must support within its architecture high processing support and high density 10GE interfaces.• The power supply that feeds this team must have at least 90% efficiency.
• The fan module in the chassis must use less or more cooling power depending on the thermal characteristics of the equipment at the time.• The system should have redundancy overall control modules, power supplies and fan modules.• The system must support online insertion or removal without impacting service all redundant elements: general control modules, power supplies and fan modules.• Include three power supplies.• The system must allow visual indication of status by LED power supplies, fans, general control modules, and modules for I / O.• The proposed architecture must have mechanisms that allow ventilation air flow so the front to the rear through the modules to isolate the cold air from the hot aisles. Likewise, switch modules must be able to be accessed from the rear to avoid wiring changes during maintenance sessions.• The switch must have an air filter in order to ensure clean air flow through the chassis.• In order to avoid any change of the wiring or the accidental disconnection of a port on the switch, it is required that the switch count on locking doors that protect the integrity of the connections to the switch ports.
