About this file
This document is a bid specification for the Stubbs Hall Window Replacement project, detailing a comprehensive window replacement scope. The project involves replacing 56 total windows, including (30) 48"x136" windows, (25) 48"x109" windows, and (1) 144"x136" window, with specifications for converting current windows to storefront-style installations. All work requires field verification and owner approval, with black frames to match newer windows on the building's south section. The specification mandates spandrel glass on top and bottom of the storefront to conceal internal finishes, and five windows will require smooth CMU finish and painting in place of sheetrock.
The bid includes specific performance requirements, with a 5% bid bond and performance and payment bonds required. The project emphasizes complete exterior waterproofing and interior finish uniformity, including area dusting and cleaning. While specific pricing, funding sources, and precise bidding dates are not detailed in this document, the specifications provide clear technical requirements for potential contractors to understand the full scope of the window replacement project at Stubbs Hall.
