SPRHA4-25-R-0295 Questions

Page 1 of 1 3/26/2025

1. Part C4812-23 Split Kit Obsolete

a. The C4812-23 Splice Kit consists of a crimp connector and an insulation sleeve. The crimp connector has a part number of C4812-6, with an alternate part number of D-609-07. This part is active and can be purchased from TE Connectivity under the number 680327-000. The insulation sleeve has a part number of C2113-5 with an alternate part number of D-436-05.

This part is obsolete and probably can only be purchased surplus. This insulation sleeve can be purchased as surplus.

2. CAD Files

a. The Air Force does not have any CAD files. Those need to be developed by the contractor for their own use.

3. Overall dimension and also the location of the holes.

a. Regarding the dimensions for the hole spacing on the faceplate drawing (16F8350), it looks like the drawing is set perfectly to scale and is to be seen as a template. The contractor would need to pull up the faceplate drawing in some sort of software (this could even be done in Microsoft Word, but not recommended), then scale the drawing up to the correct size (7in x 9in). Once the drawing is to scale the contractor can use their software to measure the hole spacing, or they can print out the drawing and use that as a template.

4. The PDF states Note 15 is in di erent Zone

a. Note 15 is on sheet 7 in revision AJ

5. For the Finish it shows the Heat treatment as per NDTS 1500.

a. Must meet the heat treatment standards.

6. Spot Welding

a. Must meet the spot-welding standards as per MIL-W-6858.
