About this file

This document is an amendment to a federal solicitation for television and sensor assembly units. The amendment makes changes to the first article inspection requirements and extends the closing date. A limited first article inspection is added for a sensor assembly unit with an updated day television assembly that includes a new CCD camera. The inspection will verify the unit meets specific performance requirements except for lightning effects and electromagnetic compatibility testing, as those requirements are removed. Both cameras installed in test units passed electromagnetic interference and nuclear weapons effects testing. The entire first article inspection or parts of it may be waived if the new CCD camera passes severe shock testing currently being conducted by the Army. Additionally, the closing date for responses is extended from May 31, 2019 to September 23, 2019. All other terms remain unchanged.
