AIR FORCE INSTALLATION INFORMATION

II. INSTALLATION SPECIFIC INFORMATION

A. VANDENBERG AFB, CA

(1) INTRODUCTION

The 30th Space Wing, Vandenberg's host unit, supports West Coast launch activities for the Air Force, Department of Defense, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, national programs and various private industry contractors. The Wing supports the processing and launch of a variety of expendable vehicles including Atlas V, Delta IV, Delta II, Pegasus, Minotaur, Taurus and Falcon. The Wing also supports Force Development and Evaluation of all intercontinental ballistic missiles, as well as Missile Defense Agency (MDA) test and operations.

Major tenant units at Vandenberg AFB include the Joint Functional Component Command for Space (USSTRATCOM), 14th Air Force, 576th Flight Test Squadron, Missile Defense Agency, 381st Training Group, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

(2) HOURS OF OPERATION

Normal hours for fuels operations are identified below. Contractor must be capable of providing 24 hours x 7 days per week PWS coverage when required including for weather, natural disaster, exercise, or other contingency operations.

NOTE (1): If the holiday falls on Saturday—the previous Friday shall be observed as the holiday. If the holiday falls on Sunday—the next Monday shall be observed as the holiday.

NOTE (2): Fuels Operations shall operate during normal or required extended hours of operation and on observed holidays unless authorized to close by the Wing Commander or designee. If closed, standby personnel shall be identified to MOC and Security Forces and be available to respond within 1 hr.

(3) WORKLOAD INFORMATION

Base workload/requirements are provided below. Quantities and durations are estimates only, are provided for information purposes only, and are subject to variation. Variation in workloads does not necessarily reflect a change in the requirements. Change in requirements will not occur without written direction by the Contracting Officer.

(4) BASE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

1. Special area services or support requiring security clearance: PL1-3 assets

4. No base fuels lab: samples pulled are provided to Vandenberg Area Laboratory

5. Update the Base Support Plan (BSP), Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), and Air Force Common Output Level Standard (COLS) as required after coordination with the

COR

(5) FACILITIES

The following on-site installation facilities may be used by the Contractor in performance of the PWS tasks. The facilities may be changed, by the local installation, from time to time to meet mission requirements. The Contractor will be notified prior to any change of location.
