1. Question: Is this a new requirement or is there an incumbent contract in place and if so what is the cost of that contract.
Answer: This is not a new requirement. The previous contract awardee was Hampton Roads GSA LLC with a total contract award value of $4,200.00. Please note the previous contract period of performance was only one (1) year (did not include option periods). The current solicitation includes a base year period of performance of one (1) year plus four (4) additional option periods. Please ensure all periods of performance are filled out in the Price Schedule when submitting a quote.

Answer: For clarification in accordance with PWS section 3b. the mowings/trimmings shall take place two (2) total times per year, one mowing/trimming in April and one mowing/trimming in September. No other months have required mowings/trimmings.
In accordance with PWS section 3d. the herbicide shall be sprayed three (3) total times per year, once in March, June, and December. No other months have required herbicide sprayings.
3. Question: The area along the fence line requires heavy brush removal – keeping vegetation away from fence approximately 10 ft? Unsure if the foliage is up against the fence on the inside?
Answer: Foliage is on the inside of the fence line, up to 10’. Outside the fence line is not our property and is covered by another landscape service and will not be required as part of this contract.
4. Question: Where can the NSA Hampton Roads/SDA Compound list be found?
Answer: Once the contract is awarded, the awardee will provide a list of chemicals that will be used for the herbicide. This list will be sent to the NSA Hampton Roads Environmental Work Permit process by DLA Disposition Services Norfolk for chemical approval.
