About this file
This is a Request to Qualify (RTQ) Solicitation Packet issued by Miami-Dade County, Florida, Strategic Procurement Department for the establishment of a prequalified vendor pool (EVN0000101) to provide Cisco software, hardware, maintenance, and professional services. The solicitation seeks vendors capable of supplying Cisco hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, access points, cables, and accessories; software solutions such as Software as a Service, cloud solutions, enterprise agreements, WebEx, and Meraki; and maintenance and technical support services including SMARTnet maintenance, repair services, and original equipment manufacturer professional services. Vendors must submit responses electronically through the Integrated Financial Resources Management System (INFORMS) at https://supplier.miamidade.gov before the deadline specified in the published solicitation. The prequalified pool will be established on the first calendar day of the month following approval by the Board of County Commissioners and will remain active for a five-year term, expiring on the last day of the final month of that period.
Placement in the prequalified pool does not constitute a contract but rather acknowledges that the vendor meets minimum qualification standards. To qualify, vendors must hold a minimum Gold certification level as a Cisco channel partner and must provide supporting documentation of current certification status. The solicitation is divided into two groups: Group 1 addresses Cisco software, hardware, and parts, while Group 2 covers Cisco maintenance, technical support, repair services, and professional services. Once established, the pool will be used for future spot market competitions in the form of Invitation to Quote (ITQ) or Work Order Proposal Request (WOPR) solicitations. Insurance is not required for prequalification but may be mandated in subsequent spot market competitions. Miami-Dade County reserves the right to add or remove vendors from the pool as deemed necessary and in its best interest. No submission fee is required to respond to this solicitation.
