About this file

This is a vendor outreach letter from Miami-Dade County, Florida, regarding Prequalification Pool No. EVN0000101 for Cisco Software, Hardware, Maintenance, and Professional Services. The outreach letter invites qualified vendors to participate in the prequalification process for a pooled procurement mechanism designed to meet the County's ongoing technology needs. The Pool will establish a roster of prequalified vendors capable of providing comprehensive Cisco solutions, including software licenses, hardware equipment, maintenance support, and professional services such as consulting and implementation. Vendors interested in participating are instructed to submit their prequalification applications according to specified procedures and timelines outlined in the solicitation documents.

The letter emphasizes the County's intent to develop a diverse vendor base through this prequalification pool, enabling streamlined future procurements and fostering competition among qualified Cisco providers. Interested vendors should review the complete solicitation documents for detailed requirements, evaluation criteria, pricing structures, and submission instructions. The prequalification pool approach allows the County to establish multiple vendors on a preferred list, from which departments can make selections for specific Cisco-related projects and purchases as needs arise, providing flexibility and efficiency in procurement operations.
