Project completion window Monday, November 2 through Friday, November 6, 2026

1. Project Overview CSUCI is seeking a qualified audiovisual systems integrator (Integrator) to provide a complete, turnkey audiovisual and control system for the Solano Hall FIT Studio, Room 1201. The work shall support reliable, high-quality instruction and collaboration and shall include all room-specific equipment, ancillary materials, labor, engineering, configuration, programming, testing, documentation, training, and warranty services required for full operation.

The Integrator shall coordinate the work with CSUCI and CSUCI Facilities and shall not substitute listed equipment or materially change the room design without written approval from the Owner's Representative.

Room-Specific Scope Boundary

• The project is limited to audiovisual and control work for Room 1201 and the directly associated signal, control, USB, network, and power connections needed for the listed system.

• The building is not under renovation. Conduit and wireways will be completed in advance by CSUCI Facilities.

• PTZ camera mount installation will be completed by CSUCI Facilities. The Integrator shall coordinate the mounting interface and install, aim, and configure the camera after the mount is ready.

• No existing audiovisual equipment is included in this scope for removal, disposal, or repurpose. The existing 75-inch display and Mac mini shall remain and be integrated into the completed system.

2. Experience and Qualifications

• The Integrator must have at least five years of documented experience with professional audiovisual projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. Audiovisual system provision, fabrication, installation, and service must be a primary business, and the bid must include comparable project examples from the previous five years.

• The Integrator must be an authorized dealer for the major products furnished; maintain current AVIXA CTS accreditation; employ CTS-D-certified designers; provide a CTS-I-certified installer on campus during installation; and hold current Extron Electronics, Dante, and ISO 9001 certifications. Include copies of applicable certifications with the bid.

• Upon request, the Integrator must demonstrate adequate equipment, staffing, technical expertise, and the ability to obtain required materials in time to meet the project schedule.

Solano Hall FIT Studio - Room 1201 | Scope of Services Page 2 of 6

• A prime contractor that does not meet these qualifications must retain one qualified audiovisual systems subcontractor to furnish and install the audiovisual equipment, identify that firm in the bid, and submit its complete qualification information. Failure to do so will render the bid nonresponsive.

3. Room 1201 Functional Requirements

• All listed equipment shall operate as one integrated Room 1201 audiovisual system. The existing Mac mini shall be the primary host, and a CSUCI-approved second host/source shall be selectable from the touchpanel.

• Route the AVer CAM520 Pro camera and the Shure IntelliMix P300 USB audio connection through a controllable USB switching solution so both approved hosts can use the room camera and ceiling microphones.

• Integrate the two Shure MXA925 ceiling array microphones with the P300 DSP, install the P300 behind the existing 75-inch display, and connect it to the room host system by USB.

• Connect the audio output of the existing 75-inch display to the P300 and route program audio through the Extron XPA 2001 amplifier to the four Extron SF 26PT pendant speakers.

• Program the wall-mounted Extron TLP Pro 535M touchpanel for source selection, required display control, volume, audio mute, and camera pan, tilt, zoom, and at least three presets. Provide all ancillary components required for complete operation.
