UConn Health seeks qualified organizations to provide outside services for collecting Workers' Compensation and Veteran Affairs complex claims. The contract term is five years, approximately March 1, 2027 through February 28, 2032, with UConn Health holding the option to renew for two additional two-year periods. UConn Health expects to make one award to a single supplier based on the Selection Committee's evaluation of proposals received. The award may be issued as a purchase order or contract at UConn Health's sole discretion and may be processed through either UConn Health or The University of Connecticut Health Center Finance Corporation (UCHCFC). Subcontracting and offshoring are not permitted.

Proposers must submit complete responses addressing 57 scope-related questions, company qualifications, references, cybersecurity requirements, and pricing. Pricing shall remain fixed throughout the contract term with no increases allowed to handling charges. Payment terms are net 45 days, with proposers able to offer cash discounts for prompt payment. Required qualifications include a minimum of five years continuously providing these services under the same business name and tax identification number, ability to integrate with Epic electronic health record systems, and prior experience with similar clients. Proposers must provide three current client references and one previous client reference; references must not include UConn Health. All proposal sections must be completed in their entirety, all forms must be signed and dated, and responses must be submitted electronically via email to the identified buyer by the specified deadline.
