About this file

This is a Schedule of Quantities and Prices form for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) related to RFQ DR145235 for Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Engineering Tools and Equipment. The solicitation is restricted to Metro Certified Local Micro Small Business Enterprises (LMCSBE) only. The quote request encompasses seven line items of specialized equipment with a 24-week delivery timeline: two Laser Height and Stagger Gauges, four Digital Calipers, two High Resolution Digital Cameras, two Binoculars, ten Hard Hat Headlamps, three Hi-Lumen Flashlights, and two Measure Wheels. Quotes must be submitted via email to sierraj3@metro.net by 2:00 p.m. PST on October 19, 2026. Award will be based on best value to Metro considering price, lead time, and past performance. Questions or requests for approved equals must be submitted at least three business days prior to the solicitation close date.

Bidders must provide firm unit prices and lump sum prices for all listed items, with the Total Bid Price representing completion and acceptance of all services. All unit and total prices must be inclusive of overhead, profit, applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance, and all expenses of the contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers. California sales tax at 10.25% and freight costs must be included in the total price submission. The bid form requires bidders to complete pricing for each line item, calculate totals, provide subtotals, add applicable taxes and freight, and arrive at a final Total Price. Any blank unit prices or total prices may render the bid non-responsive unless the missing values can be calculated from available information. Bidders must include contact information, signature, and submission date on the form.

SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS

The Bidder shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Bid and described in the IFB on the following form entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES.

The estimated quantities shown on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are based on the best information available at the time the IFB was issued, and are used for the purpose of evaluating the Bids. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.

In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount so entered shall be binding on all Bidders as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.

Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Bid Price". The Total Bid Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.

The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in the Scope of Services. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.

Should any unit price be left blank, the Bid will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).

Should any total price be left blank, the Bid may be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., total price can be determined by multiplying the unit price by the estimated quantity).
