About this file

This is a pricing schedule for Request for Proposal No. 260000002462 issued by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) for snow and ice removal services at the Traverse City Customer Service Center. The scope of work requires contractors to provide comprehensive winter maintenance services including plowing snow from parking lots and driving areas when accumulation equals or exceeds three inches, blowing and shoveling snow from sidewalks and entrances, applying contractor-supplied and program manager-approved deicer to sidewalks and entrances, and removing accumulated snow to maintain adequate parking spaces. Services must be performed automatically before 7:00 a.m., anytime during building occupancy hours, or on-call as requested by the program manager. The contractor must supply all snow removal equipment, deicer, and sand. The pricing schedule estimates 40 occasions annually for automatic plowing and shoveling services, 10 occasions annually for deicing services, and 4 occasions annually for accumulated snow removal services. The contract term is three years with pricing based on the Year One total multiplied by three for the initial term.

Contractors must submit pricing in a modifiable format such as Microsoft Word or Excel, with an optional non-modifiable format submission permitted. All costs must be included in the price proposal, including any one-time charges, setup fees, and ancillary costs. Contractors are encouraged to offer quick payment discounts with the number of days specified not including processing time. Contractors must certify that prices were developed independently without consultation or agreement with other bidders. Snow accumulation should be placed in designated locations including the dip on the north side of the parking lots, the west side of the back building, and the front east side of parking spaces. Failure to complete the pricing schedule as requested may result in proposal disqualification.
