1. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK
Boston Public Schools (BPS) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide robotics and automation instructional equipment for the Robotics and Automation Technology Program at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School. The equipment will support career and technical education by providing students with hands-on, industry-relevant learning experiences that prepare them for postsecondary education and careers in robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing.
The requested instructional equipment and technology platforms will provide students with opportunities to develop industry-relevant skills in biosensor technology, programmable robotics, autonomous systems, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and industrial automation. All equipment must support competency-based instruction and align with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Career and Technical Education (CTE) frameworks and applicable curriculum standards.

Equipment provided must support students in meeting these competencies by offering opportunities to apply technical knowledge in authentic, industry-relevant contexts.
BPS seeks solutions that include high-quality instructional equipment, appropriate software, implementation support, and any required training necessary to ensure successful integration into the Robotics and Automation Technology curriculum.
The vendor must have a minimum of three years of experience providing robotics and/or automation instructional equipment to educational or workforce training programs.
