RFQ-OH-16-00012
Amendment 05
This amendment is issued to provide questions that were presented along with answers:
Questions and Answers previously provided via Amendment 02:
Q1. Are we to assume that all the voltages are 120V and you do not need the racks?
A1. The specifications identify the voltages for input and output. L5-20 outputs have a maximum of 125V, L6-20 outputs have a maximum of 250V.
Q2. Is installation required?
A2. No.
Questions and Answers previously provided via Amendment 03:
Q1. Are they replacing existing units or building something new?
A1. This is a combination of new requirement, and replacing older equipment
Questions and Answers provided via this amendment, Amendment 05:
Q1. On page 2, 3 & 4 of the PDF, at the top for the 8KVA, a minimum of 4 L6-20 Receptacles is called out, but the Output requirement calls out just 2. Can you confirm which number of receptacle minimums is correct?
A1. Minimum of 4
Q2. On page 5, for the 6KVA output requirement of 3 NEMA L5-20R, can we use non-locking NEMA 5- 20R instead?
A2. Modification required – After powering on the equipment we discovered the L5-20 required 208V. We are changing the power cable to a L6-20 to provide for a standard 208 outlet on the UPS. Minimum number of outlets has also changed to 2, and the 120V requirement has been removed. Please see page 5 of the specifications for information.
Q3. Pages 6, 7 & 8 for the 3KVA and 2KVA Communications and Management – do you need to communicate with the unit and manage them via the network? If so, we’ll need to use network cards. Although the units come standard with most of the ports listed. Please help clarify the requirement for communication and management.
A3. The requirement is for network cards to communicate with the UPS for monitoring and management.
