To Whom It May Concern:

Please see the following response(s) to question(s) regarding the solicitation for RFQ-CTS-015-15.

Question: Can a Nurse Practitioner who is licensed to perform psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring be utilized in lieu of an MD or DO?

Response: The current SOW does not expressly permit a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to complete a psychiatric evaluation, but it does allow NPs to complete Mental Health Assessments.

According to the billing definition in the SOW, Psychiatric Evaluation and Report (5030) must be conducted by a licensed medical doctor, preferably a psychiatrist.

Please be informed that the FBOP will not accept questions seven (7) days before the solicitation closing date.

If you have further questions, please let me know.
