Compensation Structure/Pricing & Expenses
The MSP requires that the awarded ITS86 vendor operate a Contract pursuant to a fiscal structure which shall achieve fiscal transparency, with full reporting and accountability to the MSP. The achievement of fiscal transparency requires that responding bidders to this RFQ fully explain the pricing structure for the required services. Pricing information and considerations should be provided in a straightforward and concise manner. Below are examples of pricing structures bidders may propose for the MSP to consider:
Project Based Compensation Pricing: Costs under this structure are determined through project-based compensation. The bidder shall provide an actual or estimated cost for the completed contract performance based on this SOW. Payment may be based on a schedule of predetermined events or deliverables, or upon completion and acceptance by the MSP of the entire project. This type of compensation structure may be combined with a unit-based structure.
Unit Based Compensation: A unit structure pertains to rates which are set by the unit (per item, hour, day, week or service). The number can change depending on the MSP needs. The department pays only for the units requested and delivered.
Hourly Rates: Certain activities and tasks associated with this initiative may be more limited in scope and time, and therefore might be quoted on an hourly rate basis, with prior Department approval, which is an approved compensation method under this contract.
