The RFP seeks a contractor to provide security patrol and community services for Amity Plaza, Alyson Court, Bradley House, Overlook at Powers Park, and Powers Circle Apartments (which includes three buildings). The contract is for a one-year term from 10/01/2025 to 10/01/2026, with potential for renewal. Vendors may conduct site visits between August 25th and August 29th, or September 2nd and September 5th. Key dates include a September 5th deadline for questions, September 10th for SMHO's responses, and a proposal submission deadline of September 12th by 4:00pm MDT, with an anticipated contractor selection by September 26th.
The security patrol services require a minimum of two nightly patrols between 7:00pm and 5:00am, seven nights per week, with on-call availability. Responsibilities include reporting suspicious activity, confronting unauthorized individuals, enforcing building policies, ensuring designated smoking areas are used, and providing daily reports with pictures and updates. The RFP includes a fee schedule for three service categories: overnight shifts, weekend shifts, and on-call/special events services. SMHO is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization that requires the awarded contractor to provide a certificate of insurance meeting specific requirements and to register with RealPage/Compliance Depot vendor credentialing service. The selection process will consider factors such as attendance at site visits, bid completeness, pricing, references, and vendor credentialing participation.
