About this file

This is an addendum containing questions and answers for RFP 26-10, issued by Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) for executive search and recruitment search firm services. MassArt anticipates conducting approximately 2-4 executive searches annually and seeks qualified firms to support both academic and administrative leadership recruitment. The institution expects selected firms to provide comprehensive services including search committee facilitation, candidate screening of long-list candidates (typically 12-20 individuals), candidate interviews, committee training, and presentation of 3-4 finalists for on-site interviews. MassArt will pre-qualify vendors and may invite all qualified firms to respond to search-specific RFQs or target a subset of firms with specialized qualifications for particular engagements. The institution anticipates at least one search in the near term and aims to distribute opportunities among awarded vendors throughout the contract period without implementing a formal rotation system.

Supplemental services such as sourcing, compensation benchmarking, and interview facilitation may be procured directly under the contract on an as-needed basis, independent of full executive searches. Selected vendors are required to provide a candidate portal or applicant tracking system and must submit demographic data reporting for both candidates contacted and candidates formally submitted. MassArt expects all contracted firms to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding data security and candidate information management. Payment terms are set at NET 30, with milestone payment structures applied to each individual search engagement. The Commonwealth's Supplier Diversity Program participation is not required for this contract. MassArt uses Interview Exchange as its applicant tracking system, though selected vendors will not need to integrate with this platform.
