Services must be performed in accordance with the latest adopted edition of the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The service transition will be prioritized at two locations—100 Fort Worth Trail and 2900 Alta Mere Drive—with full transition to all remaining service locations completed by March 31, 2027.
Pricing for monthly maintenance shall be based on the equipment inventory provided and must include all maintenance activities, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, overhead, and profit through a dedicated Bonfire Bid Table submission. The City has established a 30 percent Small Business participation goal for this solicitation, requiring that at least 30 percent of the total awarded contract value be subcontracted or spent with certified Small Business Firms. Proposers will be evaluated on a "best value" basis using the following criteria: cost (up to 20 points), small business participation (up to 25 points), relevant experience (up to 20 points), operational capacity and availability (up to 25 points), and service area coverage and responsiveness (up to 10 points), with proposals receiving less than 50 percent of total available points, excluding price points, deemed non-responsive. No specific contract award date or contract term length is identified in the document; however, the phased transition timeline indicates a multi-year service agreement beginning with priority locations and expanding to full coverage by the specified deadline.
