About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the State of Oregon, Department of Administrative Services, State Procurement Services under OregonBuys Bid Number S-10700-00018166 for Parks and Recreation Equipment and Installation. The RFI is informal in nature and seeks industry feedback to inform the development of future competitive solicitations rather than to evaluate responses for contract awards. The current portfolio encompasses nine product categories: Inside and Outside Fitness, Outdoor Furniture, Park Site Furnishings, Safety Surfacing, Track and Field, Floating Dock Products, Shelters and Shades, Water Parks, and Electronic Play. The RFI was issued on October 9, 2026, with a response deadline of October 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM PT. Single Point of Contact Kaliska King, CPPB, OPBC can be reached at Kaliska.king@das.oregon.gov. Responses should be submitted electronically either via email or through the OregonBuys portal.

The RFI requests nine detailed responses from suppliers addressing category nomenclature, top-selling items with SKUs and brands, recommended new products or services, preferred pricing methodologies, anticipated tariff impacts, installation scope definitions and certifications, site inspection and repair capabilities, and industry standards related to product safety, ADA accessibility, and surfacing requirements. Additional questions address environmental and sustainability certifications, greenhouse gas emissions tracking, and supplier code of conduct standards. The State of Oregon notes that all submitted documents are public records subject to disclosure under Oregon Revised Statutes and discourages submission of sensitive or proprietary information. There is no obligation to award a contract, no reimbursement for response costs, and responses will not be evaluated for contract awards but may be used for future procurement development purposes.
