About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Research Triangle Regional Public Transportation Authority, dba GoTriangle, for Records and Information Management (RIM), Enterprise Search, and Information Discovery Platform solutions. GoTriangle is conducting market research to gather vendor information regarding commercially available platforms that can integrate with their existing technology environment. The submission deadline is September 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM local North Carolina time, with responses to be submitted via email to Ana Sostaric, Procurement Officer at asostaric@gotriangle.org. This RFI is not a formal solicitation or commitment to purchase, and no contract award will result directly from this market inquiry process.

GoTriangle seeks information on solutions capable of unified search and federated indexing across multiple systems, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, network file shares, Microsoft Dynamics 365, UKG Ready, Microsoft Purview, and departmental applications. Vendors must address capabilities in search functionality (OCR, full-text, metadata, duplicate detection), AI capabilities (natural language search, semantic search, auto-classification, summary), RIM and compliance (retention schedules, automated holds, disposition, public records workflows), security (source-system permissions, security trimming, Entra ID integration), integrations with specified systems, and deployment options (SaaS, Cloud, or Hybrid). Responses should include a completed capabilities matrix, company profile with public-sector experience and security certifications, implementation strategy with deployment timelines and licensing structures, and strategic recommendations. GoTriangle will not reimburse vendor costs for RFI preparation, and all submissions are subject to North Carolina Public Records Law, with vendors able to designate proprietary information as confidential or trade secret.
